Nuance Communications is releasing Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12 this week. You can download it starting this Friday. Can't wait to give it a try.
The efficiency of Dragon's voice recognition, i.e. how fast or poorly one can speak and still have the program get most of it right, seems to improve with each new version.
NaturallySpeaking 12 boasts over 100 new features and enhancements, many geared towards mobile computing, e.g. its Remote Mic is now available for Android devices, and users have greater control over Gmail, Hotmail, Facebook, and Google Chrome.
I have yet to cross over into substantive content creation via voice, but I am using it more, and notice my headset is now a permanent desktop item.
