Adaptations, a store located at the San Francisco LightHouse for the blind and visually impaired, now sells a braille version the Apple iPhone User Guide for iOS 5.0.
The 32-chapter guide comes complete with alt tag descriptions and detailed information on iOS accessibility and Siri Personal Assistant, introduced in the iPhone 4S.
The Apple iPhone User Guide for iOS 5.0 in Braille costs $29.95. February orders receive a 10% discount.
The LightHouse is the only authorized distributor for braille Apple user manuals. Other titles cover Braille VoiceOver for the Lion, Leopard, Snow Leopard, and Tiger operating systems.
Blind people can also read the iPhone User Guide in HTML with a screen reader or as an ePub using VoiceOver and the iBooks app. A free PDF version one can view using Preview or Adobe Acrobat and enlarge with Zoom is also available.
