Braille readers can now download free books -- as Refreshable Braille Format (BRF) files -- from the American Action Fund for Blind Children and Adults (AAF).
Each month since 1997, AAF has mailed free braille books in its popular "Step Into Reading" series to children, libraries, and organizations throughout the US.
Now, readers can register online to receive books as BRF files that can be read on a refreshable display, braille note-takers, or printed out on an embosser.
Recent titles include Twisters, George Washington and the General's Dog, and Amazing Armadillos.
